Above:  There were several bees drinking from our hummingbird feeder. They would literally tackle each other to get the best spot. I believe the legs pointed upward was a defensive gesture, warning off other bees.

I love dragonflies.  They eat mean bugs that bite, they’re pretty, and they love to pose for me.  Below are a couple of shots from today, click out the full view link below to see them close up and personal.  View more of my macro photography on my flickr page.

Below is a Green Anole Lizard.  I think he was looking at his reflection in my lens.

Below is a long-legged fly.  I had been chasing these all summer.  It’s not the best shot but I was happy to have finally photographed one.
